Welcome to my guitar page! This page will inlcude recordings of pieces I've done, images of performances,
my current guitars, my main inspirations, as well as a list of music and guitar related resources I've found
online that I regularly use. Classical guitar is seen as kind of pretentious but I just think it's really cool and
very relaxing to play.
A bit about myself, I've been playing guitar for over 13 years??
Can't really say at this point. I mostly play classical music but I really enjoy the Bossa Nova genre.
I hope to get more recordings up as soon as I am able to to :)
I really love this piece :) it has some really hard chord changes and it took me forever to get it up to a speed that i was sattisfied with. There's also a song called Bachianinha No. 2 I hope to record and post here soon.
I assumed this was a very old classical piece and it turns out this song was written in 2007?? A lot of the covers of this song play it pretty quick but I interpretted it as a very slow somber song. Doesn't really remind me of a lullaby...
This song is mostly associated with Christmas and was originally a English folk called "A Newe Northen Dittye of ye Ladye Greene Sleves". Fun fact: this song was hummed by Marceline from Adventure time in the Elements mini series.
The title Lagrima means "teardrop" in Spanish and the story goes that this song was written while Tarrega was traveling in England and missing his home. It is one of Tarrega's most performed pieces.
The only duet i have done so far... sorry if the audio sounds a bit funny I'm not sure why its like that. Originally written for the lute.
For the longest time I had played this song without knowing there was a B section to play. The book I only had the A section ;_; here's the whole piece though!
A picture of me during a performance of my friend's EP realease party (I'll upload the audio for that once the EP actually releases :)
A picture of me playing while visiting the guitar store I used to give lessons at.

Favorite Song: Chega De Saudade by Antonio Carlos Jobim
Another so-called father of music this time the father of classical music. Born in Spain, Tarrega is credited for laying the foundations for 20th-century classical guitar and for increasing interest in the guitar as a recital instrument.

Another very famous Brazillian guitarist. Bonfa is most well known for composing the score of the movie Black Orpheus.

Paulinho was a real guitar legend (to me anyways). He's probably currently my favorite guitarist and composer and I try my best to emulate his compositions when trying to write original pieces.
